​Jerry Both's message and his delivery of are the highest caliber, and I would recommend him as a keynote speaker for conferences with an emphasis on Patient Safety.  His multifaceted expertise (which includes teamwork skills,  research, analysis and keen observations), combines the fields of aviation, military, and healthcare to evaluate team communication concepts, patterns, and how to recognize opportunities to change course and improve the outcome.  But all of this is matched by a  presentation style that is articulate, respectful, and compassionate, sounding like a son, a pilot, a customer, a team member, a quality improvement analyst, and at times, like a doctor.  Several other speakers I have heard who are sharing their own experience with medical errors make the audience feel beat up, culpable, punished. Jerry's presentation never goes anywhere near that  line.  Instead, he helps his audience see opportunities to prevent medical errors, mishaps, and miscommunication, that could be happening in their own institutions.
